After you click Update, Premium captures the preview, compares it with the last capture, and highlights regions that changed. Roll back with Time Machine when the layout jumped.
What you get
Client Feedback and Design Review pin notes. This one compares the preview after a save.
html2canvas reads the Elementor preview iframe. Files sit in uploads/ltxe-vr/ for 15 minutes.
Before on the left, after on the right, changed clusters outlined in red.
Low, Medium or High. Medium flags when more than 2% of pixels moved.
Restores the previous Time Machine version and reloads the editor.
Draft ticks do not open the overlay. Only a real Update runs the compare.
Nothing is loaded on the published site. Visitors never see the overlay.
How it works
Turn the lane on, save a page, and decide if the change was intentional.
Settings → Add-on features → Platform: Visual Regression Guard. Optionally turn on Time Machine for rollback.
Click Update. A status chip says it is checking for visual changes.
Looks good dismisses the overlay. Rollback restores the last Time Machine version.
Visual Regression Guard is part of LandTech Extras Premium. Use it with Time Machine so a bad save is one click away from undo.
