Content Protection: lock a widget behind a password.

Turn on Content Protection on any Elementor widget. Visitors see a password form until they unlock it. Password for the locked heading below: extras

A password overlay. Not a membership plugin.

This is an Advanced-tab lock on a single widget. It is not a full membership or paywall system.

Select a widget, open Advanced, enable Content Protection, and set a password. The heading above this section is the live lock.

The password is hashed when you save the document. It is never printed in frontend data-settings.

Unlock cookies are session-only. Close the browser and the widget locks again. Nothing is stored in user meta.

The overlay posts to landtech-extras/v1/content-protection/verify. Rate limited. The form stays on this site.

Locked HTML is cached in a transient so the protected markup is not sitting in the public page source.

Elementor Extras → Content Protection lists widgets that have the lock on.

How it works

Turn the lane on, lock a widget, then unlock it from the overlay.

Settings → Add-on features → Platform: Content Protection.

Select a widget, open Advanced, enable Content Protection, set a password, and update the page.

On the frontend, enter the password. Elementor Extras → Content Protection shows which widgets are locked.

Content Protection is part of LandTech Extras Premium. Use it when a single widget should stay hidden until a password is entered.
