CPT Builder: register a post type without another plugin.
Register any post type and taxonomies from Elementor Extras. Cabins and Locations on this site are a live sample — not a cabin-rental product. Use the same builder for projects, team, listings, or whatever slug you need.

What you get
A post type in wp-admin. Cabins is only the sample.
Open Elementor Extras → CPT Builder, add a slug, labels and an icon, then reload wp-admin. The new type appears in the menu. This demo registered Cabins so you can see a real menu item.
Slug, labels, icon
Letters, numbers and underscores, up to 20 characters. Singular and plural labels, a dashicon, and the usual supports (title, editor, thumbnail).
Taxonomies
Optional taxonomies (slug, labels, hierarchical). The sample attaches Locations to Cabins. You can attach a taxonomy to any type you create.
Slug never changes
After save, the slug is locked. Reserved WordPress, WooCommerce and Elementor slugs are rejected.
Public archive
Turn on Has archive to get a public archive URL from the list. Items live under the new admin menu.
Delete only when empty
Delete is refused while items still exist. Definitions live in a site table, not in another plugin.
REST for admins
GET/POST landtech-extras/v1/cpt-builder and PUT/DELETE …/cpt-builder/{id} need manage_options.

These cards stand in for items in the sample Cabins type. Two published cabin posts are already in wp-admin. They exist only to prove the type works.

How it works
Three steps.
Turn the lane on, add a post type, then create items under the new menu.
Turn the lane on
Settings → Add-on features → Platform: CPT Builder.
Add the post type
Elementor Extras → CPT Builder. Set slug, labels, icon and supports. Optionally add taxonomies. Save and reload wp-admin.
Add items
Open the new menu (Cabins on this site) and add posts. If Has archive is on, the public archive URL is in the list.
