Scan the Media Library for images with no alt text, generate a Genius suggestion for each, then approve, edit or reject. The attachment alt is written only when you approve.
What you get
Genius writes a suggestion. You decide whether it becomes the real alt text.
Finds image attachments whose _wp_attachment_image_alt is empty.
Start a batch of up to 500 images. Progress updates as each chunk finishes.
Pending suggestions stay off the attachment until you approve them.
Sends image URLs and filename context. It does not download the image bytes.
A 10-image tick and an admin Process button keep the queue moving.
Requires the AI content generator lane and Connectors or AI Studio BYOK.
How it works
Turn the lane on, start a batch, then approve what you want written.
Settings → Add-on features → Platform: AI Alt Text Batch.
LandTech Extras → AI Alt Text Batch. Click Start batch when Genius is connected.
Edit the text if needed, then approve. That is the only write to _wp_attachment_image_alt.
