Social Feeds

EE Instagram Feed, EE X Feed, and EE TikTok Feed widgets. Tokens stay on this site. Off by default.

Where Elementor: EE Instagram Feed, EE X Feed, EE TikTok Feed. Admin: Elementor Extras → Social Feeds.

How to use it

1. Turn on "Platform: Social Feeds" under Settings → Add-on features.
2. Open Elementor Extras → Social Feeds. Optional: save Instagram / TikTok app credentials and connect, or paste an X bearer token and username. Tokens stay on this site.
3. Drag a feed widget onto a page. Choose Connected account or Example layout (example captions are labeled as examples, not live posts).
4. Pick grid, masonry, carousel, or list. Optional: captions, lightbox, and Load more.
5. Publish the page. Click a card to open the local lightbox and a View on platform link. Open Elementor Extras → Social Feeds to see which pages use the widgets.

Notes

• This is not a third-party embed. Feeds are requested from your WordPress site and cached. Tokens are never sent to the browser.
• REST URLs live in widget data-settings so compiled asset pages still work.
• GET /wp-json/landtech-extras/v1/social-feeds/{platform}/feed is public, rate limited, and never returns tokens. OAuth callback is public because Instagram and TikTok redirect here; start requires manage_options and a one-time state.
• Developers: filter landtech_extras/social_feeds/example_media_ids. Cron landtech_extras_social_feeds_refresh refreshes the Instagram token.
