Frontend Login / Register

EE Login Form and EE Register Form widgets. Visitors sign in or create an account on the page — no wp-login.php. Off by default.

How to use it

1. Turn on "Platform: Frontend Login / Register" under Settings → Add-on features.
2. For new accounts, turn on Anyone can register under Settings → General.
3. Drag EE Login Form onto a page. Optional: remember me, show/hide password, lost-password link, and a same-site redirect.
4. Drag EE Register Form onto a page. Choose fields, whether to sign in after register, and whether to send the WordPress new-user email.
5. New accounts can only receive non-privileged roles (subscriber by default). Publish the page. Open Elementor Extras → Auth Forms to see which pages use the widgets.

Notes

• This is not wp-login.php. Forms post to this site’s REST API and stay on the page.
• REST URLs live in widget data-settings so compiled asset pages still work.
• Login errors are generic so they do not reveal whether a username exists. Routes are honeypot-checked and rate-limited.
• Developers: POST /wp-json/landtech-extras/v1/auth/login and POST …/auth/register. Hooks landtech_extras/auth_forms/login_after_fields and …/register_after_fields.
