CPT Builder

Admin GUI to create custom post types and taxonomies. Definitions live in a site table and are registered on init. Off by default.

Where Admin: Elementor Extras → CPT Builder.

How to use it

1. Turn on "Platform: CPT Builder" under Settings → Add-on features.
2. Open Elementor Extras → CPT Builder and click Add post type.
3. Set a slug (letters, numbers, underscores; 20 characters), singular and plural labels, icon, supports, and optional rewrite slug.
4. Optional: add taxonomies (slug, labels, hierarchical). Save. Reload wp-admin so the new menu appears.
5. Add items under the new menu. If Has archive is on, the public archive URL is available from the list.

Notes

• This is not ACF or a field-group builder. It registers post types and taxonomies only.
• The slug cannot be changed after save. Reserved WordPress, WooCommerce, and Elementor slugs are rejected.
• Delete is refused while items still exist. Definitions live in {$prefix}ltxe_custom_post_types.
• Developers: GET/POST /wp-json/landtech-extras/v1/cpt-builder and PUT/DELETE …/cpt-builder/{id} (manage_options).
